If you are here because you have been feeling anxious, depressed, or overwhelmed; If you have been managing ADHD or processing a new diagnosis and are looking for support; If you are moving through life transitions or grief, then you are in the right place.

I became a social worker and therapist through my own experiences with grief and loss at a difficult time in my life. Having a neutral and attuned person to sit with shaped not only how I understand healing, but how I show up for others. In retrospect, I wish that I had understood what counselling was earlier on, so I could have accessed these services earlier in my life.

As someone who had ups and downs as a young person, I am especially interested in working with teens and young adults. I too know what it’s like to feel like you don’t quite belong, or what direction you want to take in life. I grew up feeling different, as a bi-racial kid in a community that I really didn’t see myself in. In addition, I was diagnosed with ADHD later in life, which helped me to make sense of some of the challenges growing up.

Our experiences can shape our inner voice that influences how we see ourselves and the world around us. I am here to help you make sense of these experiences and build awareness around how they may be impacting your life now. We can work on understanding, and creating tools to try to shift the patterns you’re wanting to change.

In my counseling practice, my primary focus is in talk therapy, while integrating regulating or somatic approaches wherever I feel it may be helpful.

If you are feeling ready for counselling and want to bring curiosity to the process, I welcome you to engage in ways that feel comfortable to you. I often come back to the idea of moving at the speed of trust, knowing that building trust in counselling relationships takes time, and it is important to honour that in how we approach our work together.

As a Registered Social Worker, my areas of focus include navigating life transitions, neurodivergence and multi-racial experiences. If you are ready to take the next step, I offer a free 20-minute consultation so we can connect and see if we are a good fit. I would be happy to offer counselling support through this chapter of your life.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy creative hobbies, gardening and spending time with my family. I am a dad, a former skateboard enthusiast, an occasional playwright and for me, emo wasn’t just a phase.
