Often we don’t start to notice we need help until we’re forced to face it. The irritability becomes too hard to ignore, it feels impossible to sleep, the mind won’t stop spinning and focusing on the “what-ifs…” If any of this sounds familiar to you, then you are in the right place.
I have been working in the mental health field for over 10 years, providing support to teens and adults navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, trauma, and everything in between.
My interest in mental health goes back to childhood. My own experiences growing up as well as those with family and friends has fuelled my dreams of opening my own counselling practice that is open to all folks and all conversations.
In my practice, I draw on a number of modalities including EMDR, DBT, CBT, and Narrative, but believe comfort and safety in the therapeutic relationship is at the core of the work we do together.
If we work together, you will get to know me as a grounded and easy-going therapist. Our first handful of sessions will be focused around me getting to know you, and the context around what brings you to counselling. Once I get to know you and your goals, I can start making suggestions as to what I think might be helpful. Together, we can formulate a plan for your care that will act as our roadmap in the work we do together.
I always welcome feedback, and don’t mind if along the way, we decide to change the route on the map. I believe in working at a pace that feels comfortable and motivating for you.

More About Me!
Outside of therapy, I like to keep busy, and try new things. I enjoy going to concerts, being in creative spaces, and spending time outside.
I am an animal lover, and as a kid was always looking for the next animal to bring home. Some of the more unique pets I’ve had are my hermit crabs, stick bugs, and a leopard gecko. Now my only pet is my small rescue dog that is more like a potato on chicken legs.
I’m into photography and enjoy capturing candid moments between families, loved ones, and friends.
